Meet Our Pastor

Dr. Dan Brown became our pastor on September 20, 2020. Dan and his wife Pam served in Russia with the International Mission Board of the SBC from August 1996 – May 1999. Dan holds a B.A. in International Missions (Moody Bible Institute, ’96) and multiple degrees from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO: M.Div. (’02), Master of Arts in Biblical Languages (’11), Th.M. (’15), and Ph.D. (’18).

Dan and Pam have two children, Katherine and Danik. Dan also serves as a doctoral research fellow at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he also teaches classes as adjunct faculty.

Meet Our Elders

Phil O’Day serves as President and CEO of Avant Ministries. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Columbia International University Seminary and School of Missions. He and his wife, Lori, first served as church planters in Mexico City with CAM International (Central American Mission), which became Camino Global in 1992. Called to serve in a leadership position within the mission agency In 2002, they moved to Camino's home office in Dallas. When Camino and Avant Ministries merged in 2019, Phil took on new roles and, in 2023, was installed into his current leadership role. The O'Days have three adult children.

Rick Reddekopp retired from AT&T after 33 years of service, working mostly within Planning and Engineering. Rick and his wife, Anne, both graduated from WIlliam Jewell College in 1984. After retiring from AT&T, Rick enrolled at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned a Master of Divinity degree in 2023. Now Rick is co-owner with his daughter and son-in-law of Renegade Coffee, where Rick can be found roasting coffee several days each week. Rick and Anne have seven children and eight grandchildren.
